"Are You My Mother" (Part 2)

Tyler's wearing his "My Best Friend is My Great Dane" shirt today, and I wanted to get a good picture of him with his favorite "person." Too bad an almost 11 month old won't sit still. I didn't even mean to take this picture- I was moving the camera down when I accidentally clicked it, and as it turned out, I got an adorable photo!

Remake of the 5 month old "Are You My Mother" picture.
(which I would post again, but I can't find...)

Family Picnic- April 19th, 2009

What a beautiful day for a picnic! We met a bunch of Tory's family at a park in Warrenton. His mom, grandma, all of his aunts and cousins, an uncle, and a few dogs were all there. We pretty much just hung out and ate. What else would we do at a picnic?? ;) Tyler got to play on the swings, slides, in the grass, in the dirt, almost in the water... and wherever else his little heart desired. He was loving just crawling around everywhere.

Dexter got to join us too. Before anyone else got there, the four of us took a walk up to a cow pasture, where Tyler talked to and shouted at the cows and Dexter tried to get through the fence to play with them. I think he was thinking "Hey! Those are my size playmates!" -We saw dozens of other dogs, all teeny tiny things and Dex didn't know what to do with them. We did see one Boxer, who I wanted to steal if her owner would have turned her back. :)

Happy Easter!

Our Easter was pretty uneventful. Tyler got his Easter basket in the morning, complete with bubbles, a book, fruit snacks (no candy... mean mom), a baseball glove that's actually his size, and a few other small toys. After that, Tory went to work and Tyler, Dexter, and I left for Sterling. We spent the day hanging out at my parent's house.

Here's my little goofball being, well, a goofball!

MmmMmmm... Salmon!

Tyler is a big fan of seafood! The pediatrician mentioned that most babies can't handle chicken/ground beef, so I should feed Tyler fish. I told him that Tyler has no trouble whatsoever with any foods, chicken and ground beef included. (Also pizza, lasagna, peanuts- yes, peanuts- and literally everything else he's ever tried.) But since fish is healthy, Tory cooked him up some salmon, It was a big hit. (Dexter thought it looked (smelled) pretty darn good too!)

Bubble Gum Toothpaste

Tyler just loves brushing his teeth every night. He looks so grown up when he does it. Ok, so he likes eating the toothpaste instead of brushing, but he's learning!

Tyler has a new friend...

Brandon Parker Means was born on March 29th, 2009 at 9:36pm. 7lbs 3oz, 19 3/4in, and a head full of dark hair! ;) Brandon is my cousin, Crystal's, son. They live only about 20 minutes from us, which is great! I'm really looking forward to watching Tyler and Brandon grow up together. ♥ I took Tyler to meet Brandon 4 days after he was born. Tyler wasn't quite sure what to do with him...

Swing-time

Abby and I took Dexter and Tyler for a walk in the woods and to the playground. They both thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Dexter's favorite part was sniffing every single stick in the woods. Tyler's favorite part was the swing, of course!
Neither of them were fond of posing for a picture...

Got (Diet) Coke?

So there I was folding laundry in the little one's room, when all of a sudden I heard a strange noise from my bedroom. I went off to investigate, and found this:
